Returns Policy and Damage items

We are sure you will be delighted with your purchase. Very occasionally, and despite the considerable experience of our despatch team and carriers, items can become damaged in transit. If you are asked to sign for the goods, please first inspect them to ensure that they have arrived undamaged. Once you have signed for the goods it may not be possible to later prove that the damage occurred before they came into your possession. If the goods are left without a signature, please make sure you contact us within 24 hours of the delivery taking place to notify us of any damages or shortages. Damages correctly notified will be replaced free of charge. However, if you choose to cancel the order at that point rather than accept a free replacement, you must return the goods to us at your expense. The Product must not have been used or installed. It should be returned with the original box and packaging, along with any accessories and literature you received with it. You, the customer will be liable for return delivery charges. Our standard website prices include delivery within the price for orders over £50, otherwise a delivery charge applies. If you follow the above steps, we will issue you with a full refund for the cost of the Product and any standard delivery charge you may have paid to receive the product; next day, timed, Saturday or outside UK mainland additional delivery charges will not be refunded; you will be liable for return delivery charges. Refunds take up to 30 days to be credited to your payment card following receipt of the Product by Ornamnental Classics in ‘as new’ condition. All our Products have at least a one year manufacturer's warranty. Faults are very rare, but if you consider an item to be faulty please call or email us immediately. We may be able to help solve the problem over the phone. If the Product needs to be returned for inspection, please check with us how the item should be returned. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault. Faulty Products will be repaired or replaced. This promise does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. Please always follow the manufacturer’s installation and aftercare instructions, as not doing so will invalidate the warranty. This returns policy does not affect your legal rights.

Availability and Delivery

Our Product availability information is updated regularly but it is possible that in some instances a product may become unavailable between updates. In such circumstances we will notify you as soon as possible and advise you of any suitable alternative products for you to consider. You do of course have the option of a full refund of any amounts you have paid in advance. Please note that estimated days for delivery shown on the web site are based on working days excluding Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Prior to delivery, you may be contacted to agree a convenient delivery day for all products other than those sent via standard letter post. Standard delivery times are between 8 am and 8 pm Monday to Friday. Premium delivery arrangements may be available at a small extra cost. These include prearranged am and pm deliveries and Saturday deliveries. If you are interested in a premium delivery service please contact us for details. We do everything we can to meet the delivery dates specified. However, these cannot be guaranteed as occasionally deliveries may be affected by factors beyond our control e.g. traffic problems and vehicle breakdowns. In such circumstances we will inform you as soon as we become aware of an unexpected delay. We ask that you provide a telephone number where you can be contacted on the day of delivery in case unforeseen problems arise. All deliveries with the exception of Products sent by standard letter post require a signature on the delivery note to accept delivery and confirm the Product has arrived in an undamaged condition, unless you the customer has requested that the product is left without signature. If you are not satisfied with the condition of the Product please advise the driver and refuse the delivery. If you sign for the Product the full shipment will be deemed to have been supplied in good condition and we will not accept any claim for shortages in delivery or obvious defects or damage to or breakages to the Products. If after agreeing a delivery date, we are unable to make the delivery due to the absence of someone to sign for the delivery you will be asked to pay any costs incurred to redeliver the products at a later time or date. Some of our Products are delivered direct from the supplier, subject to availability. Some are made to Order. Some can only be delivered to mainland UK addresses. If an item is being delivered on a pallet service then this will be to the kerbside delivery and drivers are not insured to bring the item onto the property. Drivers may, at their discretion, assist in getting the product as close as possible to the desired location.

10 Step Water Feature Install

1) Dig out hole Simply flip the reservoir upside down and mark around the edge with spray or make small incisions with the spade. The depth depends on the reservoir chosen, but is normally around 300-350mm deep. Place the reservoir inside and make sure the lip finished flush or just below the surface. This will ensure the plastic cover is hidden when finished. This is the hardest part ! 2) Ensure base is level The base doesn’t have to be millimetre perfect but it does help to be fairly level so no water is lost unnecessarily. Remove any large stones that may be in the way and interfere. If it’s quite stony and chalky remove more than required and then build back up with clean soil or sand. 3) Add builders sand to help create level base This is the easiest way to create a nice level base is to use builders sand. You can then adjust the reservoir nicely into place. For larger heavier pieces over 250kg then the reservoir manufacturers recommend using concrete back filled in between the stabilising points. 4) Insert Reservoir & Pump Once you’re happy with the levels you can then insert the reservoir and pump. The pump will sit in one of the gaps and normally has suction feet on so it will remain fixed to the base. Screw on the appropriate sized fitment to the top of the pump. Feed the cable out the top of the pump. These normally come with 10 metres of cabling . 5) Attach hose to top of pump using Jubilee clip Drop the clip over the pump nozzle then attach the hose. This should be a tight fit and will require the hose being twisted over the nozzle to fit on properly. Ensure there’s about a 20mm covering of the hose over the nozzle. 6) Place lid on top, feeding hose through centre of reservoir lid Place the lid on top so that the cut out is over the pump. Feed the hose up through the central hole in the plastic lid. The smaller holes are present for drainage. Place the cut out part over the top of the pump and slot onto the lid. This is the hatch for the pump if you need to remove it in the future. This saves you having to move the water feature ! 7) Place feature centrally over reservoir, with cored out hole parallel to central hole in reservoir lid This will depend on the exact feature. If it’s a heavy piece then you will need assistance to carry this out. If it’s the pyramid design then it’s slightly easier as you can place the slate on top and feed hose through easily. 8) Feed hose and light head up through feature Feed the hose up through the cored out hole in the water feature. Pull the hose and light head right through the feature until it sticks out of the top. We recommend wrapping black insulation tape or silicone around the light head until a snug fit in the stone (this will avoid water to fall back down the pipe) 9) Fill reservoir with water You’re nearly there. Simply run a hose pipe into the reservoir, turn on the tap and fill up just below the top edge of the reservoir, so it doesn’t overflow. 10) Switch on pump We recommend you consult with a certified electrician to power your pump. Normally this will be to an external weatherproof socket with an RCD built in. Switch on the pump and you should have water flowing out the top.
