Basalt is a common grey to black extrusive volcanic rock. It is usually fine-grained because of its rapid cooling of lava on the Earth's surface. Large masses cool slowly to form a polygonal joint pattern. This means that each and every basalt feature we supply is different. We leave these stones in their natural shape - therefore if you're looking for the perfect 'hexagon' it will be hard to find. Please understand we cannot control the shape which they are formed.
